Strimming

Up for the sunrise and a strimming session before the heatwave hits. The low sun reflects terribly off my mesh face protection so I donned the shades. With the sweatband it’s quite the thing. A lot of weeds have gone woody and line breakages were irritating. But I did more than I expected. Gave it up at ten as the heat and sun climbed higher.

Went to the coop to build our supplies for the coming lockdown. Hopefully it won’t happen but a few litres of extra olive oil never did any harm. A few German and Dutch cars in the coop car park. A hope Rutte wasn’t one of them.

I think I heard the news saying it might get up to 43C in the interior of Sardinia in the next few days. 35-37C here. And humid too. Now that is scorcio.
