Vintage heat. 11 a.m. 33 degrees

I found this old thermometer in the garage when we moved in.  I guess it is 1960s vintage? Anyway, it was hot today, climbing eventually to 36 degrees.  Essential work included setting up the portable aircon units and keeping the plants and vegetables from dying of thirst.  Multiple dips in the pool to keep cool and barbecued chicken and veggies with Gaillac white wine.
