What it looked like this morning

That's it before surgery.  See extra for after surgery.  Don't look if you are squeamish!

It turned out that I had severed a nerve so in the surgeon went, found the nerve and sewed it back together.  Unfortunately, to get at it, the straight cut with the errant chainsaw had to be enlarged and re-shaped as a reverse Z.  Ended up a bit lumpy, but no matter.   I'll wear it with pride, perhaps.
