My friend got really into embroidery during lockdown and was always something I wanted to try. She was kind enough to give me one of hers and I'm really enjoying it. It's keeping my mind busy as we wait for daily news updates. Making this embroidery for my Gran.

Update - My Gran is making good progress, small steps everyday. She's been moved down from ICU to a high dependency ward and is awake and trying to talk. Her speech isnt very understandable yet though, but with time hopefully will come. I know it's a long route to recovery but we are amazed at her progress since last week. We have sent her some video messages which my mum has shown her and hope that will give her some strength. She also has had a much more positive doctor who basically said she's not going anywhere on his watch! I like him already :)
