Grand Pier at Dawn

I woke up at 5am and on a whim looked through the curtain and saw a little bit of light in the sky, despite the rain. I decided to nip into Teignmouth, more in hope than expectation.

Because of the rain I didn't use a tripod so had had to raise the ISO a fair bit so some of my pictures were a bit blurry. I would have liked to have used a photo from the other side of the pier, which in theory is where the light was coming from, but the cruise liners were fairly close and seemed to have all their lights blazing for some reason. There wasn't much directional light and no colour in the sky. Never the less it was good to be out there with hardly a soul about. I was soon back home, back in bed and slept for a couple of hours.
