Day 2 Pisa to Castelfiorentino

It's hot. And hilly. 43 miles from Pisa to Castelfiorentino. After 25 flat miles east out of Pisa we picked up the Via Francagina pilgrim route which we will be following for several days. It goes from Canterbury to Rome! This was the start of the classic Tuscan scenery, which means hills. The 12% type which is quite tough in 32 degree heat. Now settled into a really lovely apartment. A cup of tea and a shower then we will explore the town.
Tuscany is really beautiful.
