After swim

Outdoor pools have been open for a while, and the kiddos have had a few swims at the nearest lido, but I couldn’t quite face the cold. But now our local pool has opened for pre-booked sessions, so off we popped! Heidi and Joe went early, Chloe and I not quite THAT keen, and were still grappling with the website when H returned and decided to come with us as well!
Pool was lovely, super clean and near empty. My ‘panner’s shoulder’ wouldn’t move in any swimming fashion at first, so I did lots of kick-with-fins and one-armed swimming, gradually regaining movement and by the end I was there, albeit super slow.
As usual, didn’t feel at all tired until I got home, when my legs protested a little! So chilled puzzle solving in the garden it was (until the rain started).
