Garden Visit

Two days off this week so decided to take it easy (ish). We visited a garden under the Yellow Book open garden. Combined with Gardeners world 2 for 1 it was a bargain. We walked round and got a few ideas and had the obligatory tea and cake (delicious carrot cake - whoever knew it’s made with sunflower oil? I googled as I’m going to make one). Then home for some gardening and potter in the garden.

My sweet peas have been rubbish this year despite a promising start. I took up the canes and frame and dug the space over and have tried some rose cuttings. Watch this space!

Tried an easy recipe from Pinterest for dinner (feta and spinach parcels) which took twice as long to cook as recipe said, so was 8.30 till we sat down. Then it’s Monday again........!
