Butterfly days

There were none .... and suddenly - there have been the occasional monarch and yellow swallowtail in the yard. But up the hill  on the empty lot - this lovely ( cooperative) wood nymph. Further up the road was a little patch of sunshine through trees and a columbine duskywing skipper, and a northern cloudy wing hanging out on the gravel on the side of the road . Which of course made a terrible photo. Also spotted 3 black possibly swallowtails though not seen closely enough to tell if that is indeed what they were -and another glimpsed distantly in my backyard on a thistle flower which could have been a red spotted purple .
I have also realized I have 4 lenses - the wide-angle zoom that I have mentally labeled the Landscape lens, the macro -BUGS, the 150-300 telephoto -Butterflies , and the 300-500 zoom - BIRDS. Unfortunately I can't fit them all in my pockets when I go for a walk and can't switch them fast enough! I always seem to have the wrong lens with me.I also have been having increasing problems with my D90 and the autofocus and am going to have to either see if I can get it repaired ( because God knows I can't focus it well enough manually) or bite the bullet and get a new camera. I have heard good things about the Z series mirrorless but I have all these lenses.....and I love my D90! No local camera shops anymore either.....Sigh.
