Hailey

She and her parents arrived quite late last night. They chose to drive here after dinner so she would sleep most of the way.  That worked well especially since with the sleep she had no car sickness but the downside was that when she arrived at 11:30 pm, it took her until nearly 2:30 a.m. to settle down to sleep again.  She was very excited to be here.

What a fun day we had with her.  She is so entertainingly verbal, often saying the cutest things.  The dollhouse that grandpa had built for her in 2018, now has lovely wooden furniture so she spent a lot of time arranging the rooms and placing the little Disney princesses. 

It was so lovely to have hugs from everyone. Having them here is giving us such a feeling of normality.
