The Pontoon

My son and I made a cycling tour today and we then crossed with the ferry the river IJ at Amsterdam to get North of the city. On our return to the city we had this view onto this iconic building named 'Pontsteiger'.. Pontoon in English.  

It's been realised a few years ago and on internet I looked up its name and then found a site full of complaints about the noises people hear in their flats... The view from their homes they love, but the noises from the building make them go crazy and angry; they pay a large amount of money for their monthly rent (up to 
€ 2500,-) and had expected to escape from the city buzz, but now find themselves living in a nightmare...  right I won't dream of living there then!
