The walks around St Abb’s Head as usual are quite stunning with the sights and sounds of the hundreds of seabirds nesting on the towering cliffs and the views out to sea. It was disappointing not to get a photo of the rare Northern Brown Argus butterfly and apart from some Small Heaths and Small Coppers I saw far fewer butterflies than normal probably due to the windy conditions. The extra is also at Pettico Wick on the north side
