Home alone

The Ards Man and I have been delighted and exhausted in equal measure now that the Precious and her wee family are home with us. It was just wonderful meeting her new baby, our second grandchild. Gusling 2 is such a pet but at six weeks is a real squirmer. He has had only his mum and dad for company so far, due to lockdown restrictions. It has been lovely to have them with us in the mornings and the Precious has had the novelty of a long shower while her offspring are entertained!

More jollity tomorrow when my older daughter arrives with her boyfriend (who we haven’t met yet). She sent me this photo of her moggies, who will stay at home with a house-sitter.

The excitement is ratcheting up another notch - the whole family under one roof for the first time since Christmas!
