Fawn Looking in the Window

Today the babies were out in the yard. This one walked right up to the window and looked in at me. It was after the hostas. In the extras is a shot of the two little ones together. It is all quite sweet, but they have been tearing up Farmer Al's soy field. The deer cost him thousands of dollars a year in crop damage. He has a special permit for hunters to kill them out of season. Some days we see lots of deer in the fields and sometimes we hear gunshots.
