Saltmarsh after high tide.

Beautiful and deserted on the saltmarsh today. The high tide had filled the creeks and the Marsh was squelchy. The sea lavender was in full bloom and the samphire is just beginning to grow. I shall be going to get samphire from a more protected spot next week!
