High on a hill!

I took a gamble on a route for a two wheel adventure today and I think it paid off. From Cross Hills near Keighley it was up Lothersdale Road...way up above the tree line where the views were a treat, even on a grey day! You could see for miles. Eventually took a left to Colne where the Lakeside Café in the park was open for a sarnie, before enjoying the beautiful road from Wycoller over to Oakworth...before heading home.

It's been a long, long, long time since I shared the road with my Dad as a result of my fractured ankle and wanting to build up my ankle strength. So it really was a joy! :-)
