Black Grass

I went into the garden to cut back some Dogrose that had gone crazy & was hurting our Cabbage Palm, luckily I don't think it's done any lasting damage.
I took photo's in the front garden & back, then as I bent down to pick something up I spotted this sweet little flower spike popping up from the Black Grass. Isn't it so beautifully sweet. :)
