White Peak Ridge Views
We started our walk from the Rey Memorial Viewpoint today just outside Leek. And this is the view you can see from there and all along the road where we parked. The hills you can see from left to right are - just the tip of Bosley Cloud, Hen Cloud, the main Roaches ridge, Ramshaw Rocks and finally the peak of Shutlingsloe.
The walk was mainly over more remote moorland than the more popular routes in the area. And just as we arrived so did a curlew in the field below.
We headed over fields towards the hamlet of Upper Elkstone and then back to our starting point over moorland. We didn't see any other walkers either. It's definitely a walk for a clear day as their were views all round. Best viewed large!
