Non-Fake Plastic Trees

My Dear Princess and Dear Fellows,

Caro positively BOUNCED out of bed today. I'd been up for a few hours already by this time, but that is because I am me. But Caro was up at 9.30am, FULL OF BEANS.

I think it is because it was a lovely sunny day today. It felt very summery despite being midwinter. This was exciting for her, because she's had to put off some jobs she had been looking forward to, due to the rainy weather.

So today:

- Caro put some plants into planters
- Caro painted some planters black
- Caro painted some stones black

(She's planning on putting the black stones on top of the dirt in the planters).

She then wrapped plastic around the tree trunk of a tree in our garden which is right next to the fence. The problem with this tree is that it leans at a slight angle and theoretically Punky could run/climb up it and leap the fence.

But no more. The plastic girdle gives his claws no purchase so another step to kitty-proofing.

Needless to say, the lads found all of this activity very exciting. Jasper rolled around in the sun, while Punky played with a worm.

As for Caro, she was very pleased with herself and quite right too, so I took care of her for the rest of the day. As for the lads, they are still sleeping it off.
