After the rain.......early morning light.

I’m sitting here looking out of the patio window at a colourful garden in early morning sunlight.
The rowan tree is filled with berries and framed by a blue sky, which is slowly being traversed by a mixture of wispy clouds leading an oncoming thin white blanket covering.
I’ve been out filling up the bird feeders and taking stock of the roses after several heavy downpours yesterday.
It washed away the recent humidity and there’s a pervading freshness.
The arrival of the beginning of another week.
For us it will be heralded with our Sunday Livestream at 10.30am from Birmingham Vineyard Community Church.
I cannot finish here without some reference to the news about England imposing a new 14 day quarantine for people returning from Spain, where there has been a fresh spike in Covid19 in mainly tourist areas.
This has obviously thrown the holiday companies and airlines into a tailspin, and will leave people wondering about whether other summer holiday destinations will be safe to visit.
