Bowls

The last time I delivered at the Avenue Bowls Club the building overlooking the green was not there! Surely it can't be that long ago ?.....Those living there will be able to enjoy a nice tranquil summers afternoon watching the bowls. It has also been of the venues used for the Womens World Bowls Championships in the years that Leamington have staged it. I have heard that the houses overlooking the main bowling greens in Leamington which is five minutes walk away, can be rented out for the duration of the championships for quite a lot of money, so if you don't like the bowling, rent the house/flat out and get yourself away for a couple of weeks with the proceeds....can't be bad !
