Following the noise

Taking photographs of the blackbird out of the bedroom window and heard rustling in the trees beyond the garden. Could see movement of branches so followed with camera. It was a squirrel playing in the trees, but it never fully appeared, hence only got its back and tail.
Been in the kitchen for quite a bit of today, bread and cake baked and then made dinner this evening. Hubby wanted a marble cake, so that’s what he got.
Rained very heavily just after lunch and as it was forecast for rain later I took Hetty off down to the park this afternoon. She does enjoy the contact with other dogs.
Got back and then the rain came, with thunder and lightning. Managed to get a few jobs done but still a couple of things on my list for tomorrow.
