Last fishing day
Reading this morning before a walk with the dogs along the coast. Gannets feeding frenzy and some porpoise. The dogs were on scents and eco son was reinforcing the training.
A swim in the sea with an artic skua passing over. An old crofter said I was hardy, not really I thought.
Back to base and eco son dropped me off and I walked through the moor via some lochs.
A big loch and rough terrain. Best fish of the holiday at top end in the deep peat holes. A couple more similar size and the trudge over the boggy terrain towards the house. Found another old eagle eerie on a small cliff. Tangled heather stalks piled up to about 2ft deep and wide, a Rowan now growing on the ledge.
A fantastic tea mar by eco son. Some food shop and quiet night.
