Unforeseen Circumstances

I wasn't sure what to post today; its rained all day and I opted NOT to venture out by bike or on foot this morning.

All morning was spent on admin for some forthcoming discipline matters I need to deal with and the afternoon was 2 hours on Zoom for an Annual Council meeting.

Once the meeting was over, I opted for a spot of retail therapy so donned by mask and ventured forth.

Now I don't have a 'thing' about masks but what I realised was, that when its raining they very quickly become saturated and therefore probably quite, quite useless. I saw several that had been discarded into bins for very much the same reason.

Having 'blipped' about our new Café Culture a couple of days ago. This was not going to be a good day for them. I see at one venue a newly erected awning had already been shredded by the wind and rain.

Lets hope for a better day tomorrow
