A Gaggle
I may get corrected but I think this is a gaggle of Greylag. Twenty metres away to theleft there was a flotilla of Canada Geese. They were sometimes closer but neither species seem to concerned about the other.
Not pictured and out of range I also saw a pair of Black Throated Divers. They float very front heavy and they stay under water for ages at a time and surface a good 50 metres from where they went under.
Still saying it, Mrs SJR and I must come here for a walk one day
Extra.
