Fields of Gold

Having spent the night at Porrentruy in the Campervan we used it as a start point for a super bike ride through the Swiss and French Jura. (58km,670m ascent)We crossed the border a couple of times but it wasn’t always obvious where it was. The farmers were out in force and the combine harvesters were working hard. We haven’t seen an area in Switzerland before where they use such big machines. The photo shows one of the many harvested fields.

Crossed the border into France this evening, after a swim in the Doubs. Staying at a goat farm.
