Rainbow umbrella

Lots of rain on and off today which is needed for the garden, particularly the vegetables at the allotment. Met a friend who was going for a walk with this lovely umbrella. She said she bought it in Grenada(W.I) where here daughter lives but we suspect it was probably made in China! She was also showing off her new trainers. I was taking grandchild no3 for a walk in his buggy as too wet to let him play outside on the lawn. Such a contrast to yesterday when there were lots of people about and teenagers jumping on the river. Didn’t see any boats today, no one at the playgrounds we passed and certainly no teenagers!

- lots of tidying and washing this morning
- picked up lots of pies from the pie lady and delivered to several people
- son and family came pm to stay one night
