Leeds old and new Day 4: Finally, a Leeds arena!

Just a short walk from my office is the new Leeds arena, due to open in September 2013.

The 13,500 capacity Leeds Arena will be the UK's first purpose built 'fan-shape' arena and have an iconic external design that can change appearance through an ever changing kaleidoscope of coloured lights. The best thing is the team I work on procured and commissioned the developers to build it. All on time and on budget! Let's hope this new venue doesn't disappoint!
