Derelict deco

Sydney used to be an art deco city and sadly much of the deco buildings have been demolished, but a fair few remain in the inner west. This one shows obvious signs of neglect and I wouldn't have chosen that colour but along with the pink on no. 47 across the road, it reminded me of Mexico City. The Mexicans do a far better job of the use of vibrant hues than whoever thought these up.

I will do a treatment of no. 47 in a future blip.
