The Ashes - from which the Phoenix will rise!

This farm was owned by an indomitable lady called Merriel who farmed single handed into her late 70s. She was an amazing character and much loved by all of us who were her neighbours. Sadly she died about 5 years ago and the farm fell into the hands of developers, but no development took place and the place fell into dereliction. Now things are looking up and new owners are about to start clearing the site prior to building a new house. I'm sure the style of house would not meet with Merriel's approval but I'm sure she would be pleased to see her farm coming to life again.
