I bought this off nephew Tom last year and have finally got it framed and hung in my cottage study aka The Tomb.  I have no idea why this little room is annexed off the main cottage  but it is the worst part of the house, gloomy; cold or stuffy but at least quiet.  The outer wall is solid so it needed a masonry drill and some lock down time to put it up.  I’m delighted with this slightly austere but solid  work of Tom’s. One in a series. It reminds me of stage sets, somewhat lifeless but eerie and evocative.
