Contemplating This As Our ‘New Normal’

Today was the day....Sushi and I had our first post-lockdown haircut, a day we had both been waiting for! Beforehand and while I was stuck in the queue for the bank contemplating this as our ‘new normal’, Sushi headed off for his appointment.

When I joined him after a few minutes, I had to double take as my previously bald hairdresser was now sporting a full head of hair! We had a long chat whilst he was cutting my hair about how during lockdown, for various reasons and after a minor midlife crisis, he’d decided to have a hairpiece (real hair on synthetic skin) implanted. I was quite surprised but it actually really suited him.
