Haircut Sir - Stumped
The saga of the cherry tree has reached an end, well almost as I need a man with a chainsaw to cut the branches into logs, and the major trunk(s) likewise if we can’t find a woodworker who can make use of them. We may also take the main stump down another foot or so (30 cm to 50 cm for those who are up-to-date) with the chainsaw.
I have made a collage to celebrate the finished job. Around the stump (starting top right) we have the pile of kindling, the log pile, the bean (or other) poles, the two major trunks, and the biggest trunk where it fell. There is also five rubble bags of cuttings and shreddings hiding away somewhere.
I think I may take it easy this weekend.
