Cornflower Blue/Pink/Purple

It was nice to get to Friday without having a major breakdown (Tuesday was close).  I spent the day on the telephone. With a Panther-Pause between every call.  And then at 2pm I decided enough was Basta!* and logged off.

My mood was not improved by our weekly shop where it seemed to me that everyone in Schierstein was trying to out-idiot everyone else.  No one pays attention to anything or anyone else.  I was a knot of seething misanthropy by the time we got home.

A small cat purred.  Gave a cute yawn and then sat beside the terrace doors.  The door was opened and off she ran to play with her Fabulous Fluff Brother friend.  That took the edge off my unhappiness with the world.

And I liked this cornflower.

*You use the word Basta! in German to signal that you've had enough of whatever sh*t is happening.
