ITS ONLY A SUNFLOWER

But.......it was sown on the first day of lockdown.

My daughter planted 2 in her pot....and my son planted 1 in his to have a race to see whose flowered first. This is the smaller one of 2 in my daughters pot...so she wins.
The 2 that are yet to flower are well over 7 ft and continue upwards...with buds ready to flower any day now.....it looks like daughters number 2 plant will open very soon too...so daughter wins... !
They are, by the way, 22 and 25 years old !!
