Stream

This is the stream at the bottom of our garden. I built this little waterfall, which is about 15" tall to stop stones from blocking the drain in the road during heavy rain. Where I placed my camera is a culvert that channels the water into the drain. In heavy rain the power of the water pushes lots of stones into the drain, blocks it and causes the road to flood. This little piece of engineering seems to have done the trick.
In the back ground is a Dixonia that we planted a few years ago. It loves the water and the shade and provided me with a prop for a Lego Blip I did over a year ago. We are planting more ferns in this area to create a Jurassic garden full of pre-historic plants.
