Poached eggs

Sarah and I used to go for poached egg every week at the local deli. Best poached eggs in the world! We last went on my birthday, 19th March; as we left we wished the staff good luck and hoped we’d see them again soon - I don’t think we expected it to be four months but they’re open again, and the chef hadn’t lost his knack of poaching eggs.

We came home and rummaged through the wish jar to find “ eat poached eggs at the deli” - in doing so I found a wish from Sarah that said “take grandpa for breakfast at the Castle cafe”. That made me very sad.
