Barnpark woods in full summer is glorious and teaming with biodiversity , todays standouts were wrens, chatty stone chats, a magpie, butterflies and hundreds of flies, it is that time of year and I did smell of horse !
The sun finally came out for the early eve while I was at the stables . I needed my sunnies for lunging - lovely ! The grass in the field was long and Daisy was working long a low to get at the ends, wish I could get her that low when riding . Took it easy and some pole work and a couple of jumps, have a flat work lesson tomorrow and we’ll be working hard .
