Pre-holiday Treat.

Look at those beautiful, big eyes! There she is, my little one, enjoying Dutch pancakes, chocolate sauce & strawberries as a treat before we venture on a 5 day holiday with Grandma tomorrow.

I’d like to say she was very deserving of this treat but she wasn’t really. Far from it! She didn’t want to accept that she COULD NOT stand on a chair, leaning over the naked flame of the gas hob whilst we melted the chocolate. She screamed & shouted & told me I was “poo poo Mummy!”

The reconciliatory photo is quite sweet though.
