Veronicastrum alba

Whilst visiting friends’ gardens this week, I was so impressed, not only by the layout and gorgeous plants, but by their tidiness and absence of weeds. Despite all my time and efforts, I was feeling a bit disheartened this evening and feeling I would never get on top of the weed problem. The recent rain hasn’t helped at all nor has a visiting rabbit which is digging holes all over the place.
However, seeing this plant at the beginning of my grass borders cheered me up. Perhaps it will all come together one day.
