PATTERNS

This is my first ABSTRACT.    

I have learned to really like ABSTRACT ART.  When we lived in Michigan,
every year there was a wonderful display called ART PRIZE.  
Artists from all over the world would display their art throughout
Grand Rapids.  All the museums opened their doors to the public & businesses displayed the art.  My favorite was the outdoor sculptures 
displayed all along the Grand River, sometimes even in the river.

Much of the art was abstract & I had lots of practice enjoying this kind of art, during my 8 years going to this festival of the arts.  Vibrant abstract colors & patterns often caught my eye & elevated my mood.  Every Fall,
we spent days, walking all over the city, enjoying this amazing art, then talking about it over dinner.  We still talk about how wonderful it was.

This blip caught my eye in the same way, & reminded me of the 
fun we had, just enjoying art. Vibrant color & pattern is everywhere...
