Thursday trickery

The silliness started last night when I couldn’t sleep.

I’ve discussed this with my neighbour and walking companion before and think of it as Wednesday syndrome.
In the past we have met up with friends for a couple of drinks on a Wednesday teatime and subsequently eat later than usual, often followed by a poor night’s sleep. I haven’t been to the pub on a Wednesday since lockdown began and logically that doesn’t make sense as if we are eating out it would be later and probably accompanied by a couple of drinks, so now I’m thinking it’s the Thursday morning walk itself that’s stopping me sleeping. It’s an early start, which I don’t mind in itself as long as I get a decent sleep, so I think being conscious of that and wanting to get off to sleep earlier might be actually stopping me! Agh! It doesn’t happen all the time thank fully but it did last night.

Consequently I turned over when my alarm went off rather than walk and haven’t had much energy today, so it’s been a bit of a non day.

We did walk on to the garden centre this morning. I needed cards and Chris now wants saucers for his pots!
The penny arcade area has been roped off on our previous visits of late but being open today I couldn’t resist taking some silly photos of Chris and with a bit of trickery got Chris in both booths.
The owner of this garden centre has a thing for memorabilia. The Potting Shed cafe (which is currently being refurbished) has lots of items from bygone days hanging from the ceiling (it’s been blipped several times in the past - one here )and has a fine collection of old local photographs on display.

This is today’s blip as it’s all I have taken!
