SUNSHINE ON A RAINY DAY.................

Day 132  of my lockdown - Day 41 of slight ease

Poppe over the Morecambe this morning to spend some time with Mum, have a coffee and a chat, which was lovely.  The journey over was OK but I do hate the motorways when it's rainy because of all the spray - but at least it was fairly quiet.

I knew the weather would be too awful to stop off anywhere on my way home so I took this photo of my Mum#s brand new sunflower, which she and my sister bought from Home Bargains on Tuesday and I think it's come out quite well - considering I was standing in the kitchen doorway and looking down onto her garden.

Journey  home wet but OK.

I've now got to learn abou ICM (Intentional camera movement) for the LetsDo52 project for this week.  I have taken a couple of photos but will try to do better and learn how to make it more artistic.  Not really my thing as they come out too abstract but the really good photos can look stunning and its always good to learn new things.

I'm thinking of going into a cafe with CumbriaLass one day next week so we can have a meet up and go for a walk with the lovely Fletch, do some photography and have a lovely catch up.  I'm nervous about it but I've check the website on where I'm thinking of going and they do seem to be doing an awful lot to protect everyone and I need to make a start sometime and it's always best to do that with great friends or family.

If I get on well this it will be a good back up for my Mum's birthday in August if the weather is wet.

Do take care everyone and stay safe.  If you go into shops or cafes please do ensure all Covid safe procedures are met and adhered to.

See you all tomorrow.
