Pansies

This is the tapestry that I've just 'blocked' at the cost of a thumbnail.
It took me over 2 years to complete : I worked on it throughout the time that my mother was in a nursing home after a catastrophic stroke. I hadn't finished it when she died, and couldn't bring myself to work on it for some years afterwards.

But here it is, complete, beautiful, and about to make its debut as a cushion !
