A clear path

I didn't get to bed the night before the movers arrived to decant our flat - I ended up packing and moving stuff through the night.

Not much fun - but all too necessary... I'm always surprised at how you can keep going if there just isn't an alternative.

So it was with great pleasure (and unbridled relief) that I finally made it to bed in my new bedroom, which even had floor space.

Staying up for 40 hours just doesn't seem the same as it did as when I was a student...!!
