Phlox

Back at the end of June I wondered about the name of a recently blooming plant in my front garden. I've since found out that it's Phlox. Not only do I know what it's called but I also know why it was chosen as part of the planting back in April last year. It really makes a great display, all the more so because it's flowering at different times in different places, so I'm getting great benefit from it. It really makes a great display.

The back garden, on the other hand (Extra) has run amok because of the rain that settled in at the end of 'the heat wave', making the grass too wet to cut until now. It's as badly in need of a trim as my own hair.
