Moth Orchid

A chance to try my focus rail today. This Orchid was quite a challenge because the contrast was not very great so Photoshop struggled a bit finding the sharp edges to stack.

This was shot in a window so the blue natural backlighting produced a nice contrast with the artificial light that I illuminated it with.

The focussing rail was really easy to use and made sharp focussing a cinch.

Just realised - looks like a teddy bear angel!
