Corner

I don't often see Curlew in this corner of the moor but after hearing one calling away I scanned the fields and found it perched on a wall in the Low Springs pastures.

I'd wandered over to the botanically rich marsh on Sconce Crag. The Bog Asphodel is now displaying well (extra), with Sundew and Cross-leaved Heath adding further colour. Five Oystercatcher flew over peeping away.
