Nuttall's Woodpecker

Went to a nearby park to do some bird watching and later to, hopefully, see the Neowise comet.  Unfortunately, there were some clouds in the area of the comet.  I was able to see it through someone's telescope.  It appeared as a fuzzy ball with no visible tail.  With my binoculars I was not able to tell the comet from other stars.

I did get a clear view of Jupiter and some of it's moons, again through the telescope.  

It was nice to explore an are close to home and to share the evening with others with social distancing and masks.
