Day 203/20. Running up that Hill

Well, not quite running. A first trip to Glastonbury and a walk to the top of Glastonbury Tor, rising to a helight of 138 metres.
This picture shows the last few yards of the walk up the Tor. The concrete path encourages visitors to avoid the steeper, more direct, routes, and thus minimises the possibility of erosion.
No-one know how the Tor was formed, being in the middle of the Somerset Levels.
The three-storey open tower of St Michael's Church survives at the top, dating back to 1539.
Of course, the huge Glastonbury Festival is held not far from the Tor, but not in this unusual year.
